I measure the arrival of Spring with one of my favorite days of the whole year: The day we get to turn the Ladies back out to pasture! While their winter care is superb there is something truly special about witnessing their joy as they return to the lush green grass!
Here we go!

Wow ! Thats a field full of grass ! When did they come off for the winter ? In the uk we have had so much rain the fields are looking pretty sick, got our girls out on mon but having to give a lot of buffer to let the grass get ahead . Lovely picks, some good cows !

Sorry I missed your comment Chris!! We came off last fall around early October I believe. We were really worried about how this Spring the grass was going to do as we had a Very dry winter. But late winter was decently wet and things are growing well.
